Surfing:
You won't be dissappointed when you wake up to the sounds of the waves breaking from your bed.
La Ponderosa is a perfect place for surfers. The resort is located one mile south of the point break
(Pavones) and two miles north of the beach break (Punta Banco). La Ponderosa is owned by operated by
and designed for surfers. Pavones is one of the longest waves in the world. You also have the option of taking a boat across to Matopalo
to surf one of the many right point breaks.
Fishing:
Fish off the beach, in the river mouth or we can arrange a trip by boat with one of the local fisherman.
