Fly to - San Jose, Costa Rica
Rental Cars- are available at the airport or can be arranged by your travel agent before leaving.
Pavones is a seven hour drive from San Jose. If you have time to make the drive, renting a car will give you more freedom.

Alternative to Driving
Bus - Tracopa Bus Lines. Buses depart several times a day from San Jose to Golfito. Call costa rica phone #222-2666
Plane - Sansa Air. 45 minute flight to Golfito. They make 2 or 3 trips daily. #221-9414 or www.flysansa.com
Golfito to Pavones
Taxi - Taxies are readily available. You can also take a taxi from San Jose to Pavones.
Bus - The Pavones bus leaves Golfito about 2 p.m. tell the driver La Ponderosa
